Since the release of the Jesus 2 project, we've made impressive progress and development towards our mission of funding the creation of an immersive story-driven universe that combines animation and Web3. We've already completed Phase One and Phase Two, selling out our 4000+ piece collection of NFTs for the first 20 characters in under 40 mins. Jeeeeezus.

We've assembled an all-star cast of voice actors, including Pendleton Ward and Steve Little, and we're deep in production on the final product. Now, we're pushing forward into Phase Three, seeking funding for post-production, music, and animation fixes. Our NFT holders will enjoy exclusive access to the premiere of the Jesus 2 animated short film at CNFTCon in late September, as well as Web3 streaming access. Phase Three will also enable us to develop the screenplay for our feature film, Smuggle Brothers, produced by our web3 animation studio, Studio Picatrix. The Phase Three collection will consist of 2,240 NFTs and 10 new base characters from the world of Jesus 2. Phase Three is the final phase of the Jesus 2 collection, and will be the launchpad for the development of the animated feature film. Jesus 2 is much more than a Web3 cartoon, we're paving the way for independent animators to create original content outside the traditional studio system. So what the heck is Jesus 2 about anyway? Well the story revolves around two Space Pirate brothers named Sunday and Monday, who stumble upon a ship created by the Angelic beings to smuggle the living into the world of the dead. They receive guidance from Archangels on how to cross people over to the afterlife and stop Jesus 2, who has unleashed magic fluids that grant immortal life to all living creatures in the galaxy. However, they face opposition from various groups, including the President of Zombie Nation, Tech Wizards, Simulords, and more. Got it?

As the brothers navigate through their mission, they encounter numerous challenges from those who oppose their goal. They must confront the nightmare that is Jesus 2, a resurrected version of Jesus from the DNA discovered by the President of Zombie Nation. Jesus 2 unleashes cursed party fluids that strip people of their purpose and lead them into a life of depravity and ugliness. The brothers must find a way to stop Jesus 2 and end the curse he has brought upon the galaxy. Cardano was chosen as the platform to launch the Jesus 2 project for technological and sustainability reasons. Animation is a critical component of the Jesus 2 project and the production team has assembled a talented group of animators and artists to bring the characters and universe to life. The team is led by Jesse Moynihan, who has extensive experience in animation and has worked on hit shows such as Adventure Time, Midnight Gospel, and his critically acclaimed graphic novel Forming. We've got an all-star voice cast for Jesus 2 that includes names like Pendleton Ward (Adventure Time) Michael Cusack (Smiling Friends), Duncan Trussell (Midnight Gospel) and Steve Little (Eastbound & Down). The animation process will take several months to complete, with the team aiming for a release in the fourth quarter of 2023. As the production progresses we've been providing regular updates to the Jesus 2 community, sharing behind-the-scenes insights and sneak peeks of the animation in progress. The completion of Phase Three of the Jesus 2 collection will serve as the launchpad for the formation of Studio Picatrix, a dedicated Web3 animation studio. The first goal of the studio will be to produce an animated feature, by drawing on Jesse's vast resources from the mainstream animation space. The longer term vision of the studio involves creating a community of artists and writers who collaborate to produce high-quality animated content. Studio Picatrix plans to onboard other mainstream artists and creatives and bridge the gap between mainstream creative media and Web3. The ultimate goal of Studio Picatrix is to create a new era of decentralized film financing and promote community-driven funding models through blockchain technology. Studio Picatrix aims to pioneer a shift away from traditional mainstream funding models and towards creatively uncompromised and community-driven media.

Jesse Moynihan is the project's creator. As a Peabody-nominated creator, he has left an indelible mark on the industry with his work on hit shows like Adventure Time and Midnight Gospel, showcasing his impeccable storytelling abilities and innovative visual style. His graphic novel, Forming has received widespread critical acclaim. Resident grind-lord, you might find him drawing for up to 16 hours per day while smashing Monster drinks. His extensive background in the mainstream animation industry makes him a force to be reckoned with in the web3 space. He's creating NFTs because Jesus 2 is too crazy for development executives and making things without any creative sacrifices is the future of entertainment. Jono is the project and community manager. He's involved with all things discord, visual design, socials, strategy, minting and meta. Wearer of many web3 hats, he's been involved with several sell-out projects in the CNFT space. With a extensive background in graphic design, marketing and project management, he's well-equipped to get as many eyes as possible on the project and propel Jesus 2 further into the heavens. Casey Rup is a writer/director/producer who's currently working as a creative executive at Bento Box animation studio. He graduated from the University of Texas in 2012 and started his career at Starburns Industries, working on Rick and Morty and Charlie Kaufman's Anomalisa, among many other projects. Since then, he has produced and/or directed content for Fox, Netflix, Hulu, FX, HBO, Adult Swim, Vice, as well as a number of music videos and commercial spots. He also founded the experimental multimedia variety show SUPER TIGHT, that has been a staple in the underground Los Angeles performances space.

Art There are a total of thirty characters in the Jesus 2 collection. It's basically thirty projects in one. Thousands of hours have gone into creating the unique poses and traits for each character to create a rich and vibrant world. Each NFT comes with a PDF subfile attached with a description of its lore and how it fits into the larger narrative of the animation. Each character has a unique Astrological Symbol, Homeworld, Tarot Suit and Enlightenment Level, inspired by old-school collectible cards. Supply The total supply will be 6,666, split into Three Phases. Each Phase consists of 10 unique characters. We made this decision for three main reasons. 1. Each phase corresponds with a component of the animation production. By separating the collection into phases, we allow our holders to see the animation process and how the funds are being used. 2. There are thirty unique characters in the collection. Most NFT projects have one character with a bunch of traits. We wanted to give people time to familiarise themselves with the unique characters, and each of their individual stories within the Jesus 2 animation. 3. Jesus 2 was born in the bear market. We value longevity and prefer the slow and steady approach to give our holders confidence that there is the right amount of supply given market conditions and sentiment. The story involves the two brothers being embroiled in dangerous missions for various warring factions, navigating double-crosses and ambushes from a gallery of fiends, and outmaneuvering their foes with luck and paranoia. The series will explore deep existential themes such as the meaning of life, the nature of reality, and the power of belief, all while delivering a thrilling and visually stunning experience.
